Its redesigned layout uses gardens, mountain-facing spaces, cabanas, and indoor-outdoor wellness programming to create a more residential feel. For Paradise Valley residents, that shift gives the property several possible roles. It can serve as a nearby staycation, a place to host visiting guests, a setting for an event, or simply a new dinner option.
That last role may be the most immediately useful.
Hecho Libre is the clearest connection between Miralina’s resort-scale investment and a resident’s weekly plans.
The restaurant is guided by two-time James Beard Award finalist Wes Avila, whose Los Angeles work includes Guerrilla Tacos and Ka’teen. At Hecho Libre, Avila’s approach connects Baja coastal cooking with Sonoran ingredients. An Arizona-local promotion is currently listed through August 31, 2026. It offers a second 60-minute spa service of equal or lesser value at 50 percent off with the purchase of one 60-minute service. Terms, gratuity, availability, and service eligibility should be confirmed before booking.
The broader point is straightforward. Paradise Valley residents now have a substantially redesigned wellness destination on Lincoln Drive, with spaces and programming that did not exist in this form before 2026.
The changes at Sanctuary Camelback Mountain require a different lens.
This was not a guest-room renovation or a new restaurant launch. Sanctuary invested $7 million in more than 8,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space. The project, completed in January 2026, covered the Views Ballroom, Views Terrace, Paradise Views, Lower Lawn, and Cholla meeting room.
